Volunteer Fire Police & Fire About the Department

The Lookout Mountain Police and Fire Department’s personnel are cross trained in law enforcement and fire fighting capacities. All officers are State Certified Police Officers and State Certified Firefighters. Officers are also trained EMRs, Emergency Medical Responders. Each patrol car is equipped with emergency medical equipment including a defibrillator. All officers are trained in the usage of the defibrillator, which has been proven to be a life saving device. Ambulance transport is provided by Puckett EMS.

Garbage Truck Sanitation and Streets - Brush and Leaf Pick-up Schedule Sanitation Collection

Pick up is on Tuesday and Friday of each week. Please leave your trash out by the curb in the green bin provided by the city. Please ensure the arrow on the trash can is pointing towards the street. If trash day falls on a holiday, pick up will be the following business day. For the safety of our city workers, we require all trash to be contained in bags.
