Municipal Planning Commission
Purpose
The City of Lookout Mountain, Georgia Planning Commission was created as a result of state law. Its role is to make zoning and land use recommendations to the City Council.
Appointment
The Planning Commission is a voluntary body of 9 members largely appointed by the Mayor and the City Council for staggered three-year terms.
Meetings
The Municipal Planning Commission meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 5:30.
