Following a public hearing, at the regularly scheduled June 20th City Council Meeting the Council passed on first reading the 2008/2009 city budget.

With projected revenue in the genral budget of $1,030,650 and expenses of $1,017,802, the city finances are balanced and in good shape.  There was no need or discussion of a tax increase.
